The Display Cart or Merchandising Cart, What's the Difference?
"Carts" in a retail environment can basically
be categorized into two distinct types. The one type transports and displays
products in ways and in places that help in selling merchandise. Product
visibility and product enhancement are key factors for choices in purchasing
this type of specialized cart. These carts are known as 'Display'
or 'Merchandising Carts.'
The second type are 'Customer Service Carts' that are designed to 'serve' customers
before and after a purchase is made. Every effort is made to help make
the shopping experience as easy and worry free as possible. From the product
aisle to the cashier and then from the cashier to the parking lot, goods
need to be transported easily and safely.
OutFront Portable Solutions recognized a real need for much improvement
in both types of these carts, especially in the seasonal Garden Centre
Industry.
The All Cover Design Team has recently introduced what many leaders
in the 'industry' have quickly recognized as very solid and remarkably
economic alternatives to what traditionally had always been "the"
'Display' and 'Customer Service Carts' in the
Garden Centre. Check them out.
